Classical crossover vocalist Una’s recital, which graced the New York night, has successfully concluded to the enthusiastic cheers of New Yorkers.
In the first half of the concert, she showcased the true essence of classical music with gem-like opera arias by Verdi, Bizet, Puccini, and Handel, alongside German and French art songs, drawing loud applause from the New York audience.
In the ensuing second half, she delivered a unique and deeply moving experience fitting of a popera diva, performing French chansons, traditional Korean folk songs, and tracks from her own albums.
Returning to the stage at the end of the concert, Una explained the tragic sinking of a passenger ferry off Jindo in South Korea to the international audience and shared her condolences with an impromptu rendition of Gounod's "Ave Maria."
Una plans to connect with her Korean fans this year through upcoming concerts in South Korea and the release of a new album.
